5/20/11- “DON GREGORIO’S WINTER FIELDS (TRUCHAS, NEW MEXICO) – 12″x24” Original Oil on Belgian Linen, to be framed in silver with Linen Liner. Work in progress: The underpainting. All colors mixed with Grumbacher’s MG Fast Drying White and Winsor-Newton’s English Distilled Turpentine. Trees: Chrome Oxide Green Opaque and some Prussian Blue. Sky and snow shadows: Payne’s Grey and some Prussian Blue, a touch of ochre.
