17 October 2008 — WORK IN PROGRESS –“AUTUMN FIELDS” (Valdez, N.M.), 28″X22″ Original Oil on Belgian Linen — Am in the process of blocking in some new canvases for my Santa Fe exhibit next year and here is another — Painted loosely over a “grisaille” (greyed gesso background) — the colors are mixed with Foundation White — the warm fields are a combination of Yellow Ochre and Burnt Sienna — also some Mars Orange. The trees: Chrome Oxide Green Opaque, Prussian Blue, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Ochre and some Cadmium Yellow. Stay tuned!
