GESSOING — PREPARING THE CANVASES TO PAINT
In the studio – getting ready for some winter work — Mix gesso (usually acrylic) with Payne’s Gray acrylic paint – thin with water to a consistency that will not leave heavy brushstrokes on the canvases — let dry for a few days before applying paint.
