Studio No. 2615 – LA SENDA DESCONOCIDO – 22″x28″ Work in Progress (Glazes). Color notes: Glazes are the transparent or semi-transparent oil colors applied over the underpainting. This step in my process adds depth to the final painting. Sky: Cobalt Blue, Cerulean, Thalo. Mountains: Darks – Prussian Blue and Burnt Sienna. Lighter areas: Chrome Oxide Green, Yellow Ochre. Brush: Combinations of Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, some sky colore, Dioxazine Purple and Prussian Blue. Road: Holbein Rose Grey and Yellow Ochre.
